Out-of-State or Foreign LPN or RN Waiver Application

You are eligible to bypass the MSDH training requirement if you meet the following criteria:
  • LPN or RN program graduates who have completed an LPN or RN program outside the state of Mississippi must provide a copy of their approval to test letter from the Mississippi State Department of Health, Bureau of Health Facilities Licensure and Certification.
INSTRUCTIONS: 
  1. Complete and submit this Out-of-State or Foreign LPN or RN Training Requirement Waiver Application.
    • Upload an image of your Approval to Test letter from MSDH.
  2. Once approved, you will receive an email with your Username and Temporary Password to sign in to your TMU© account.
  3. Please refer to the Mississippi Nurse Aide Candidate Handbook for instructions on Completing your Account and other important testing policies and updates.
Once you have completed all the fields in this application, select 'Send Application' to submit it.
